20000801AM - (2/*) - A police officer has his club wrestled away from him after striking protesters with it as he drove down 18th alongiside the Vine St. Expressway on 8/1/2000. He was pulled from his car and then engaged in a fistfight with protesters, before pulling his gun. This incident sparked a rash of wild melees in Center City Philadelphia.
