Pam Anderson did not make a guest appearance, but some of the best ocean lifeguards in Monmouth County New Jersey battled strong surf and each other at the 30th Annual Sea Girt Invitational Lifeguard Tournament. Hosted by Sea Girt Beach Patrol, Spring Lake won with Bradley Beach placing second. Some of the other towns involved were: Belmar, Manasquan, Ocean Grove, Bradley Beach, Long Branch, Sandy Hook, Lavallette and Asbury Park.
