The 2nd Annual Asbury Park Lifeguard Challenge, the premiere lifeguard competition on the Jersey Shore with more than $5,000 in prize money. This event was a tune-up in head-high surf for the 2008 United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) National Championships held at Manhattan Beach, CA on Aug. 8-10. Los Angeles County LACOLA was the winner with Monmouth County, NJ second.
